Fishermen come every year to Pine Glen Lodge from as far away as Florida for the northern experience

Bring your boat or rent one from us and keep it at your own spot on our dock. Our beach runs across the front of the property with natural sand and a gentle slope perfect for the kids.

We are located on Clear Lake, in the heart of the Rideau Lakes (pronounced Ree-doe). We are on one of numerous lakes running from Ottawa to Kingston that are interconnected by a historic canal system – it’s a boater’s heaven!

For fishermen we have approximately 10,000 acres of water at our doorstep and an unlimited amount to explore in the Rideau Region. Anglers travel from far and wide to catch Northern Pike, Large and Smallmouth Bass, Lake Trout and Calico Bass (Crappie).

Fishing guides are also available and specialize in providing you with the experience of a lifetime; they will assist you in a day of angling, and treat you to your own fish fry over a campfire on one of the islands just as it was done a century ago.

Fish are bountiful in the area which is rich with both shallow and deep waters. Large and smallmouth bass, northern pike, lake trout, and crappie abound.

Pike fishing starts on the second Saturday in May and Bass fishing begins on the last Saturday in June.

For fishing regulation information visit www.mnr.gov.on.ca/MNR/fishing.

Relax to the call of the loon at your campfire after a full day of activities on the water!
